We are aiming to have everything complete, both print products and trailer done and they will hopefully be up to a standard that we are both proud of, we Will be uploading the trailer again hopefully in the next few days with the changes made to it.When we were asked to make changes to it we were told that it looked to much like a story and that it looked to continuous. This time we have made sure that there is a clear change in events and you can see the change in the boys behaviour and what he has turned into. i am hoping the audience will recognise that the child is the main character and the trailer is focused around him.We have tried to improve the narrative of the trailer by showing the boy and his family on a normal day, coming home from school and watching TV,then there is a few titles to separate out the footage and will maybe hint that it is of the horror genre. Also the music gives the impression that it is happy and normal at the beginning of the trailer as opposed to the end when the music becomes more dramatic and fast paced, which should match the fast pace of clips. Now we are having a few problems rendering the footage as the titles are not being rendered but the rest of the footage is. But now this problem has been solved.
Just need to get the picture edited and put onto the magazine, so that it creates the right horror effect on the audience. The layout of the magazine has improved.
Me and Manny are also going to strat and prepare for our evaluation which we will be starting next week , in the form of a presentation and an interview. We have also created the backstage footage with a commentary which we will probably upload that next week.
We have also decided to carry out some audience feedback for the print products which we will do in the next few days. We did some audience feedback at the start of our project aswell, which we included in our presentation when we were presenting our initial ideas about the genre of the trailer.
