This is the footage we have edited so far. Manny and me have spent time going over the footage and seeing if it fits together well.
We have added in some temporary titles until we have created the titles that we actually want in the film. We are in the process of deciding on what the titles will actually say and i am in the process of making. We have decided that we are making them in photo shop and importing them into the trailer which is being edited in Adobe premier pro.
this is just the footage we have and have done some minor editing to it to try and match up the shots so they flow smoothly. We will be working on editing this footage and will be adding more in a it is being shot.

Titles:
This is an idea of what all the titles are going to look like before the Main title at the end of the trailer.
I made this in photoshop by having the red font and the same font as the main title deranged, i then used the different text effects to change the darkness of it, so it looks more faded. the red has connotations of fear, danger and evil, which are obviously common themes of the film. I then used the blurring effect to which softened the edges of the text which made it darker and blended the red and black together more.

Film Trailer:Progress
Over the past week Manny has been shooting some more of the footage that we need to use for our rough cut which we are aiming to complete by Friday. She has had a few problems over the past few weeks with regards to filming as she was ill for one weekend when we were planning to get some of the extra shots done. This means we had to rearrange our production schedule so that we would still have enough footage in time for Friday. Manny filmed at her own shop, where we had planned to film the flashback that would be featured near the beginning of the trailer, this is what we agreed. She filmed on the Monday and Tuesday night of this week. She informed me of what she had shot and what issues and problems had arisen on the shoot as naturally they do happen, this was so i have a good idea of how the camera work had been carried out, as i was not present when shooting this part of the footage as Manny said she would manage on her own, and i did offer to come and help but we both decided it would be easier if Manny did it by herself as the setting is where she lives. After shooting some of the footage we found that it looked a bit red , we were unsure of whether this was the lighting in the room where Manny was shooting or if it was the setting of the camera. We were also trying to edit the footage when the program kept crashing and therefore we could not continue to edit on that day. Another problem we found in the footage was the positioning of the boy when he is in the forest as it does not run smoothly and ruins the continuity slightly as the boy jumps from place to place. We may consider re shooting this part when many is available to got to that setting again. We are also trying to edit it as best we can.
This week i have been working on the titles for the trailer. We have decided that we are going to have the same style font as the main title is in but we thought we would change the colour of the font because we still want the main title to stand out from the titles leading up to it. We also need to think about what the titles are going to say and how they are going to link to the footage shown and how we are going to represent the plot without giving to much information away as Mr Earl commented on Manny's post of the footage we had so far saying that the titles maybe didn't match the footage well. I have been making the titles for the trailer on photoshop, but i have realised that if we put them into Adobe premier pro, the program we are using for editing, that we may not be able to add many creative effects to make them stand out. We were thinking we wanted to make them move but we thought that we could only do a cross fade with the titles as they are imported images. this is something we are going to have to think about. We made the title move last year , this is where we got the idea from.
I have uploaded call sheets for the shoots and will shortly be uploading the footage we have and the log sheets we have made.

Film Trailer : Planning
This is the call sheet that me and Manny made so that we knew which shots we were going to use and the actors needed for this shooting period. This is the call sheet we are going to use for our first shoot which is on the 22nd of October. Manny will be shooting in a forest in Sunderland with her cousin as the main character and this has been recorded on the call sheet and given to the actor so that he knows when he is needed and the costume he needs to where as well as what the scene is about so that he can prepare his acting, as he will also have the script. So will know which parts of the scripts he needs to learn because he knows which scene is being shot. It will also help remind Manny of the equipment that is needed on the day. This call sheet is vital in making sure the actors turn up at the correct time and so that they can keep this time free so that we can have the footage shot. It helps us to keep us to a tight schedule. If we did not do this we may not get all our footage shot in time. It is definitely useful for organising our shoot.
